Avengers #51″ is a comic book issue published by Marvel Comics. It was released in 1968 as part of the original Avengers series, which began in 1963.

The main story in Avengers #51 is titled “In the Clutches of the Collector!” and is written by Roy Thomas with artwork by John Buscema. In this issue, the Avengers face off against the Collector, a cosmic entity who seeks to add powerful beings and artifacts to his vast collection. He wants to keep the Avengers as pets in his collection.

Yes, it is a weird story but like a lot of other weird Avenger stories, it is super entertaining because the story and art just go so well together and weave you right in.
